FRC Projects in our County
One Started
In 2013, two Osbourn Park students got together with the hopes of creating an FRC team for students at any High School across Prince William County. With the help of the Metal Jackets, they created Team 4472 Supernova. For years the team worked along side us in our workshop competing in competitions and learning what it meant to be an FRC team. In 2017, the team left the Osbourn Park workshop and moved to Woodbridge High school where they still operate today.

In 2023, Team 1885 previously known as Ilite, currently Comet had a factory reset in which they lost mentors, students, and materials including past robots. Nevertheless, the remaining team members were determined to continue with their new coach. The Metal Jackets invited Comet to our workshop and gave them access to our supplies and machinery whilst teaching their new members about FRC. The Metal Jackets are active in aiding this team and teaching them what it means to be an Impact team, helping them prepare to go our for a Week 1 Comp. The Metal Jackets love for Comet spreads across space itself.
